H-E-B ISD MUSIC TEACHER, Michael Dean, received the Bayard H. Friedman HERO AWARD. Music Teacher MICHAEL DEAN, presented by Chesapeake Energy at The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra performance at Bass Hall on Saturday, April 17, 2010, 8 p.m. Mr. Dean has been named the most outstanding Voice and Choral Teacher in North Texas of the year!!

SAGITC 2009 in Review 2009 Goes on record as a very GOOD YEAR!!
We are proud to announce that Stacy Summerhill, principal at Azle Junior High School, is to be named by SAGITC and TCU as the 2010 Outstanding Principal in North Texas. She will receive the Bayard H. Friedman “HERO Award” at the TCU basketball game on Saturday, February 27 at 7 p.m.
